Shipping & Handling Instructions

Because we are shipping perishable products, it is critical that someone is at your office or residence to sign for your shipment upon arrival. The delivery truck will not leave the product without a signature. We ship next day delivery only. Inspect the package before opening it to make sure there is no leaking or damage to the exterior of the package which may indicate improper handling during shipment. If the packaging or the product was damaged during delivery, refuse the order and contact us immediately so we can rectify the situation. Next, open the box and inspect the live lobsters or seafood products. If you ordered live product, the lobsters should be cool and damp and show some reaction when handled. If they are droopy and show little activity, they have tired during the trip and need to be cooked that day.

If you need to store your lobsters or seafood products prior to cooking, you must place them in the coldest part of your refrigerator or cooler and keep them moist with a damp towel or newspaper.

DO NOT KEEP THE LOBSTERS SUBMERGED IN ANY KIND OF FRESH/SALT WATER OR PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER...THEY WILL DIE IMMEDIATELY!

If you keep them at a cold temperature, they will stay in their “hibernation state” until you are ready to cook them. We recommend that you cook your lobsters the same day that you receive them for the freshest taste.

CANCELLATION POLICY

No refunds or credit will be issued unless the cancellation is requested 48 hours prior to the ship date. You may cancel your order either on-line or by calling 1-800-222-5096.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

  • All orders must be placed the day before (by noon Eastern time) your scheduled delivery date.
  • Delivery days are Monday through Thursday only.
  • You will receive confirmation of your order and delivery verification by e-mail.
